Presenting: ME

Hey, this is kind of cool. Next week I'm going to be doing a short presentation at the San Francisco Ruby Meetup. The topic is how to contribute to the Ruby on Rails open source project. Because, you know, after just one patch being accepted I'm a total expert.

Seriously, I think my relative newbie status means that all the things I had to learn are still fresh in my mind, which might actually be helpful in trying to explain it.

At any rate, it was a good excuse to buy iWork so I could play around with Keynote. I just hope between Edward Tufte whispering in one ear and Guy Kawasaki in the other that my slides don't end up being too post-modern.

Thanks for pointing this out. I just signed up for the meetup myself. It will interesting to meet some other rails developers. See you there.
